i4pd was asked to develop the aesthetic direction, implement new functionality related to the plant guard and shrubbing features and engineer components for Flymo's production readiness. 

After a series of sketches and foam models, the concept design was translated into a CAD model. Earlier prototyping allowed us to assess and verify additional new functions before commitment was made to progress to full engineering design. Wherever possible we seek to identify the best way to verify the design intent at the earliest practical stage of a project.
