In his role at i4, Maj will undertake extensive research in to the market, targeting companies and clients in support of the business team. He will utilise a number of appropriate resources to gather information relevant to products, competitors, customers and industry trends. Some additional responsibilities include organising events and helping manage social media. He will play a critical part in the formulation and delivery of the business strategy and in securing new business opportunities. Ultimately, his role is key in increasing the company’s presence online and in person across the UK and mainland Europe.
What is your approach to design?
Research is the foundation of any business because the initial data helps define business goals. I feel my approach to design as a Market Researcher, especially in a Product Design Consultancy, is significant as it equips the team with valuable information helping make better informed business decisions.
What are your three favourite designed products?
George foreman grill – This genius indoor BBQ allows me to cook some my favourite meals in a fraction of normal cooking time. Cheese toasty, steak, vegetables and BBQ chicken has never tasted better.
Apple iPad - In-between a computer and a phone, which makes it useful when I'm on the move. A great device for watching movies, reading, listening to music and much more. Plus I'm always satisfied with its unique and slick design.
Black 1967 Chevrolet Impala SS - I always loved the black and distinctive vintage exterior of this muscle car.
What interests you?
I have keen interest in the sport of martial arts and football – both taking part and spectating. I also have a passion for photography, film-making and editing.
What product could you not live without?
Although a cliché answer, I could not live without my Smartphone. It's an important means of communicating with friends and family and is a necessity in my professional life. Also, the world-wide-web being at the palm of my hand is a resourceful tool!
